2019 Little Pirate Football Camp
For: Students going into 1st-4th Grades for the 2019-2020 school year
When: July 11 thru July 13; 9am-11am
Cost: $40 (Multiple athletes from one family that attend this camp or our Junior High Camp will be $35/camper)
2019 JH / Pee Wee Football Camp
For: Students going into 5th-8th Grades for the 2019-2020 school year
When: July 15th thru July 18th; 9am-11am. On July 15th and 17th, 7th & 8th graders, will meet in the high school weight room at 8am
Cost: $50 (Multiple athletes from one family that attend this camp or our Little Pirate Camp will be $35/camper)

State Weight Lifting CHampions!
Congratulations to Tanner Wilson and Blake Richardson on winning the State Championship in their respective weight divisions at the State Weight Lifting Meet in Kenton Ohio.
Tanner Wilson State Champion of the 225 pound Weight Class won his weight class by 200lbs!

36 lifters from the Wheelersburg Football Program competed in a weightlifting meet at Piketon HS on January 26th. As a team the Pirates took 1st place and 73 personal best lifts were recorded by the Pirates. Individual results in their weight classes are as follows:

Caleb Browning #76 was 6'1" 289lb Freshman Offensive lineman at Marietta College. Marietta finished the season with an overall redord of 7-3 and 6-3 in OAC conference. Caleb was an impact player throughout games as a backup lineman and on special teams units.
Xander Carmichael #35 was a 6' 2" 225lb Linebacker at Arizona Western Junior College. Xander contributed defensively and on special teams for the Matadors recording 6 tackles for the season. Their record was 6-5 on the season. Arizona Western chose to not continue their football program in 2019. Xander has transfered to join the UPIKE Bears in 2019.
Alex George #49 was a 6'0 200lb Freshman Linebacker at the University of Pikeville. UPIKE finished the season at 6-5 and was 4-2 in the MSC Appalachian Conference. Alex traveled to some games and was utilized on practice and special teams units.
Nic Parsley #64 was a 6'1" 225 Defensive Lineman at the University of Pikeville. Nic also travaled to some games and was utilized on practice and special teams units.
